Jordan without time

Photopolymer etching on paper, 2016.
Printed on Hahnemuhle etching natural*.

No neon lights, or hawkers, or crush of traffic, no glass skyscrapers or giant billboards, but in no doubt of its "Hong Kong-ness" in my mind. I can smell the curry fish balls, and hear the whirr of air conditioners.

This print was selected by the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair for exhibition November 2021.

* Printed on a warm Hahnemühle natural etching paper which does not photograph very well, the paper is not white, and the ink is not black.
