A large Norway Maple provides shade in the red brick courtyard at Zea Mays Printmaking Workshop, where I spent three happy weeks in May this year. You can see the tree from the doorsteps to the workshops, which sit along the Mill River in Florence, Massachusetts.
Made with lower toxicity methods and materials, this aluminium plate is paired with a monotype plate, and each print is then hand finished by the artist. Expect variation in the small colour elements!
